Ray Shepard Celebrated Juneteenth with Us

Ray Shepard, keynote speaker at the 2019 Juneteenth Celebration

Ray spoke to us about the "history that we lived that was not the history that was taught." Powerful evening. The Q & A session could have gone on and on. We appreciated the intellect of this gentleman and the privilege to sit under his tutelage.

Real life Storytelling Panel Spoke Truth to Power

Reverend Wilbur Conway, Emanuel Mason, Fred Smith, Hazel Johnson, and James Watkins were outstanding presenters on the Real Life Storytelling panel. When asked to participate on the panel, no one hesitated.

When sages share, sit down, get a pad and pencil, shut your mouth and listen. Living history is at its best. Great example of speaking truth to power. “
“Attitude Builds Character. Character Builds Attitude,” quoted by Fred Smith. Allan Lee was on point as a moderator.👍🏾to all. We can thank Peter Wilkerson, professional videographer for getting it all down.
